Legislation that would give elderly and disabled Tennesseans more long term care options was unanimously approved by the full Senate this week. The legislation simplifies access to home and community-based services and increases the number of people able to stay at home for long-term care needs through the state’s TennCare program.

The Tennessee Republican Party created Solutions Tennessee, a new website at www.SolutionsTN.com, to focus on solutions rather than sound bites. SolutionsTN.com will focus intently on policy issues and solutions, and providing the people of Tennessee a valuable information resource and tools to make their voices heard on important state and federal policy issues.
